What is a Cyclic Pressure Control System? How Does it Work?

The APP Cyclic Pressure Control System (CPCS) is a machine that generates cyclic pressure at a user-defined interval of minimum and maximum ranges. These ranges include atmospheric pressures of 5000 pneumatic systems (psi) all the way up to 60,000 (psi) hydraulic systems. What’s more, is the CPCS machine is fully automated and is controlled by a microprocessor. This ensures that the results are highly accurate and the pressure transducer monitoring gives adequate feedback. The user-defined target pressures include holding times, pressurization rates, and dwell times that can be performed under elevated temperatures for stimulating actual operational conditions. There’s also, a windows-based software that controls the entire pressure testing process and also depicts real-time test status during the entire process. Visually being able to look at the process step by step as it happens enables a better understanding of the expected results. The Cyclic Pressure Control S...
